Abstract

This paper acknowledges on the behavior of SSTS system incorporated with Fuzzy Interference System (FIS) for improving the performance, power quality issue and overall stability of the variety sensitive loads evaluated with. Immense simulations are carried out to validate and study the application of Solid-State Transfer Switch (SSTS) under different load condition. The switching control scheme is straightforward and unsophisticated that does not require heavy computation on the switching controller and the gating scheme. This system consists of fault detection scheme, gating scheme and Fuzzy logic controller using FIS. Simulations are performed using Simulink/MATLAB software which illustrates compatibility of the proposed fuzzy logic switching control scheme.
