The Comparison Between Face-to-Face and Virtual Learning Method: The Efficiency of Students’ Performance Through Microsoft Office

Abstract

The closure of educational activities in the Malaysia due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic resulted in an unplanned shift from traditional learning to a setup that exclusively involves digital teaching and learning. Within this context, the present study aimed to compare undergraduate accounting students’ results regarding the effectiveness of synchronized online learning and traditional learning. Furthermore, experiential education the process that occurs between a teacher and student that infuses direct experience with the learning environment and content. This study compares the results for subject Information Technology and Accounting Application 1 specifically for diploma accounting students between traditional class and virtual class. There is no significant impact in term of the achievement of the students in the final lab test.
