The College of Engineering has kept pace with the demands of scientific and technological world. The college strives to provide a first rate educational experience and first class education to its undergraduate students preparing them for positions in the industry or academia. Today, the college comprises of four departments which are Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
The college offers programmes at Bachelor levels. The college, in collaboration with the College of Graduate Studies, offers programmes at Masters and PhD levels.
Currently there are two journals published by the College of Engineering and its department.
The Journal of Energy and Environment (JEE) is published by the College of Engineering, while the International Journal of Electronics, Computer and Communications Technologies (IJECCT) is published by the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, College of Engineering.

The International Journal of Electronics, Computer and Communications Technologies (IJECCT) is a refereed journal aims to publish articles and papers that contribute to the development of both theory and practice in the field of communication, electronic and computer engineering.
The journal covers all essential branches of microelectronics, signal processing, RF propagation and systems used in communication, spectrum management, computer engineering and also also the applications of these fields in green technology, medicine, agriculture and biology.

The issues of depleting conventional energy resources, its impact on the environment and global climate, its pricing volatility and security of supply, are among the topics widely debated in the national, regional and global arena. The Journal of Energy & Environment is dedicated to advance knowledge and share ideas in the area of energy and environment among researchers, professionals, policy makers and the public at large, to inculcate innovations needed to solve problems for a better and sustainable future.
Journal of Energy & Environment is published annually by the College of Engineering, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). High quality papers on technological, theoretical, application and socio-economic aspects of energy and environment are invited for publication.
